Animation Jobs in India.

One of the biggest challenges that the animation industry currently facing is the demand-supply gap. This has mainly due to the non availability of adequate human resources for the animation industry. Therefore, there is a great demand for animation jobs in India. According to a NASSCOMM report, India's animation market is expected to increase to USD 950 million by 2009 (from USD 285 in 2005). Along with the animation industry, the gaming industry is also expected to witness a major growth. The demand for animation artists come at present mainly from the entertainment sector - film, television channels. However, demands are also expected to come from e-learning sector in the immediate future. The entry of some big companies like Reliance is also expected to give a boost to the already booming animation industry in India.
Skills Required: Most animation institutes seek to impart the basic skills required to get a job in the animation industry. However, the most important thing in animation is the knack of portraying ideas and emotions and making them visually attractive. Thus apart from having the will to nurture the creative streaks, knowledge of fundamentals of visual communication, iconography, image processing tools, the nature of electronic media and the art of storytelling are very important. Success in the animation industry would mainly depend on the willingness to put the hard work and the love for the medium. 
Scope of animation jobs: Animation jobs in India is mainly in demand for production work coming from various foreign companies and domestic TV channels. With the growth of the industry, work in post production are expected to be opening. As the size of the global animation industry is quite huge, good animation artists can also look for jobs abroad.

  1. What I want 2 say is never depend on any of the institutes, tat they will provide u recruitment n jobs, what wud they do if recession continues.
    So, the summary is,try to fight the entrance exams of reliable institutes like National Institue of Design, if they don't succeed nothing matters, try sum other but better options n don't try to ignore Paper n Pencil in animation field as well as walk with technologies, ways will come out n reputed studios keep searching qualities.
